Day 2 visits the dramatic Seti river gorge, the bat cave of Mahendra Gupha, the Devi's Fall and the Gurkha Museum, with an afternoon boat ride on Phewa Lake. Day 3 includes a sunrise hike to Sarangkot and optional bungee jumping or zip-lining.

Frequently asked questions

Is paragliding safe in Pokhara?

Yes. Pokhara is one of the world's top commercial paragliding destinations, with consistently good thermals and a stunning backdrop. Our tandem pilots are all qualified by the Paragliding Association of Nepal with at least 500 tandem flights of experience. The flight lasts about 30 minutes and is suitable for anyone weighing between 25 kg and 110 kg. Children under 16 need parental consent.

What is the best way to get to Pokhara from Kathmandu?

You can either fly (25 minutes) or take a tourist bus (6-7 hours). The flight costs around USD 120 and offers spectacular views of the Himalaya - sit on the right side flying west. The tourist bus costs around USD 15 and follows the scenic Prithvi Highway along the Trishuli river. Most travellers fly one way and bus the other. We can arrange either option as an add-on.

What optional activities are available in Pokhara?

Pokhara offers the world's steepest zip-line (1.8 km, 120 km/h), a 70 m bungee jump over the Seti river, ultralight aircraft flights around the Annapurna range, mountain biking, kayaking on Phewa Lake, stand-up paddleboarding and a variety of yoga and meditation classes. We can pre-book any of these activities as part of your package - see the 'Optional Activities' section.
