If you want a genuine wilderness trek away from the crowds, Manaslu is it. Crossing Larkya La was the hardest and most beautiful day of my life.
FAQ
Why is a restricted-area permit needed?
Manaslu borders Tibet and the Nepali government restricts numbers to preserve culture and security. A minimum of 2 trekkers plus a guide is required.
