The organisation was flawless from start to finish. Our guide Tenzing was incredible — patient, knowledgeable and genuinely caring about our acclimatisation. Standing at Base Camp was the most emotional moment of my life.
I was nervous about altitude but the two acclimatisation days made all the difference. The lodges were better than expected and the food was hearty. Kala Patthar sunrise is something I will never forget.
It is genuinely challenging — be prepared. Days 8–10 are hard. But the support from the crew was amazing and reaching Base Camp felt like a real achievement. Booking the helicopter return was a great call.
