The Manaslu Circuit is a 16-day wilderness trek around the world's eighth highest mountain. Far less crowded than Annapurna or Everest, it offers genuine remote-area trekking with deep Tibetan-Buddhist culture.

Arrival, hotel transfer, briefing and welcome dinner.
Day 2: Drive to Soti Khola (730m) 730m
Long drive west from Kathmandu to the trailhead.
Day 3: Cross Larkya La (5,106m) – Bimthang (3,720m) 5,106m
The big day! Pre-dawn start to cross the Larkya La pass with views of Manaslu, Himlung and Cheo Himal. Long descent to Bimthang.
Long hard day — bring layers.
Day 4: Departure 1,400m
Transfer to airport for onward flight.

Why is a restricted-area permit needed?
Manaslu borders Tibet and the Nepali government restricts numbers to preserve culture and security. A minimum of 2 trekkers plus a guide is required.
