Itinerary

Day 1 Drive to Nayapul – Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m) 1,540 m

Short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, then a gentle walk along the Modi Khola to Tikhedhunga.

Day 2 Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m) 2,850 m

Climb the famous 3,000 stone steps of Ulleri, then continue through rhododendron forest to Ghorepani.

Day 3 Sunrise at Poon Hill – Trek to Tadapani (2,630m) 3,210 m

Pre-dawn climb to Poon Hill for sunrise over Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Return for breakfast, then trek to Tadapani.

Day 4 Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m) 1,940 m

Walk through quiet forest to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk with stunning Machhapuchhre views.

Day 5 Trek to Nayapul – Drive to Pokhara 820 m

Descend to Nayapul through terraced fields, then drive back to Pokhara.

Day 6 Drive/Fly to Kathmandu 1,400 m

Scenic drive back to Kathmandu, or optional 25-minute flight.

Perfect family trek
